Red SD works for the appropriation of tools and habits in digital security in different parts of Central America; acting from prevention. Our target audience are people who work for the defense of the fundamental rights of people such as journalists, human rights defenders, communities at risk, activist groups, among others.

What we offer
Train Nicaraguan individuals/people/actors in digital security
Develop and offer literacy and training programs in digital security practices, adapted to local needs, that strengthen their capacities to protect themselves against cyber threats and ensure the privacy of their communications and activities, inducing the habit of good digital practices (digital self-care).
Design open, horizontal and collaborative learning processes within the network.
Establish an ongoing training and feedback model that encourages the equal participation of all members, enabling the identification and sharing of best practices, lessons learned and innovative solutions to current and future digital security challenges.
Encourage and procure the self-care of the network under holistic security guidelines
Identify priority areas and expand outreach in 2025
This will include planning new partnerships and projects that will expand the impact of the network both locally and internationally.
